Carl Chirwa is a Pan-African banker with over 25 years of experience across 25 Sub-Saharan African countries, specializing in investment banking, cross-border lending, trade finance, and corporate finance. He founded Ashcroft & Gray Group and served as Head of International Banking at Bank One Ltd in Mauritius. He has held senior roles at CITI Bank, Standard Chartered, and the Trade & Development Bank (TBD) in Kenya. Carl holds an Executive Leadership Diploma from HEC Paris, a BSc in Applied Accountancy from Oxford Brookes University, and is a fellow of the ACCA.
