He is a senior international banker with a career spanning over three decades, beginning in 1988. He has held senior management positions at several banking institutions and has a background in central banking, having worked closely with a central bank governor, providing strategic advice on monetary policy. Additionally, he contributed as a freelance note-sender for the Economic Intelligence Unit in Mauritius.

With extensive experience in international lending and trade finance, Kris has played a key role in major syndicated transactions worldwide, supporting top corporations, banks & FIs, as well as sovereigns. Currently, he serves as a business consultant in Mauritius and acts as a business introducer for the African Solidarity Fund, a multilateral institution based in Niger. He also sits on the Advisory Board of DFC Holdings in Nigeria as Strategy Director.

A strong advocate for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), Kris firmly believes in its transformative potential to boost intra-African trade.

He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bordeaux I, France.
